The integrated graphics are also run by AMD, being 8 times more powerful than those of Xbox 360 and made up of 5,000,000,000 transistors, ten times more than Xbox 360. It also includes USB 3.0, HDMI in-out and 802.11n Wireless connections. Also the Kinect 2.0 , with a 1080p camera that processes 2 GB of data per second with a response time of 13 billionths of a second. The operating system is made up of a Windows Kernel that has several Internet Explorer and multimedia functions, another dedicated exclusively to the console, and a third that manages both aspects simultaneously. It has a Blu-ray Disc optical drive and includes the online cloud storage system.
It was confirmed that thanks to the cloud, it would have support for content in 4K (Ultra HD) resolutions for video content, images and games. Xbox One can also receive television signals via coaxial cable from cable or satellite pay TV systems, displacing pay television companies' decoders. However, it is unknown if Xbox can work with certain set-top boxes that also require a Smart Card. It can also act as an intermediary between television signals via HDMI cable from pay TV decoders, only if they incorporate HDMI; however Xbox or Kinect by themselves cannot change the channel by command or voice command, since they do not control the decoder, they only receive its image.
The HDMI port can receive a second video signal from other devices, such as a PC, Blu-Ray player, or even other game consoles. Xbox One lacks an RCA connector and this makes it incompatible with older cathode ray televisions (Although you can get special HDMI to RCA connector adapters relatively cheaply to use the console with this type of device.)
