Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 (commonly abbreviated as THPS3) is a skateboarding video game that is the third installment in the Tony Hawk's series. It was developed by Neversoft and published by Activision in 2001 for the Nintendo GameCube, Game Boy Color, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation. In 2002, it was released for the Nintendo 64, Xbox, Microsoft Windows, and Game Boy Advance. It was the first game released for the PlayStation 2 to support online play, and the last game released for the Nintendo 64 in the United States.

This game introduced the revert, a trick that allowed a vert to be combined with a manual, by pressing a button when landing on a quarterpipe. This allowed for much longer combos than in the previous two games, where landing on a quarterpipe would end a combo. Hidden combos were also added, which were variations on standard tricks that could be performed, such as grab, flip, lip, or grind. For example, pressing the kickflip button twice would achieve a double kickflip. This system would later be refined in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4. The game was also noted for having advertising in the form of billboards; previous games in the series also featured advertising, but this was the first time non-skateboarding brands such as McDonald's, Nokia, and Jeep were featured.
