Jaws 3-D is a 1983 horror thriller film directed by Joe Alves. It is the third installment in the popular Jaws film series.
The story moves to a Florida water park called SeaWorld, where a new underwater attraction is opening. However, the tranquility is disrupted when a massive female great white shark, over 10 meters long, and her calf become trapped inside the park.
The protagonist is Mike Brody (Dennis Quaid) , the eldest son of Police Chief Martin Brody from the first two films, who now works as chief engineer at SeaWorld. Along with marine biologist Kathryn "Kat" Morgan (Bess Armstrong) and shark hunter Philip FitzRoyce (Simon MacCorkindale), Mike must face the threat of the gigantic shark that terrorizes the park's visitors.
The film focuses on shark attacks within SeaWorld facilities , including lagoons, underwater tunnels and water shows.
