At a conference prior to the Tokyo Game Show , Sony announced the launch of a new model of its PlayStation 3 console, which is 20% smaller and 25% lighter than the previous slim. It came out in black in September 2012 and white later, in its best version it has a 500 GB hard drive. There are packs with the games FIFA 13 or Uncharted 3: Drake's betrayal in its GOTY version. Two more versions of the console also came out, apart from the 500 GB, the 250 GB and the 12 GB (flash memory) storage, far surpassing the most basic version of its most direct competitor, the XBOX 360 . As a novelty there is a sliding tray instead of the slot to insert the disk and the simplicity in its design. It is available at a price of 250 and 300 dollars in North America , depending on the model and its features online.
