Shadow of Memories (ps2) (very good second hand, no manual)
Synopsis:
Set in a fictional German town called Lebensbaum (Tree of Life), Shadow of Memories revolves around a 22-year-old man named Eike Kusch, who is stabbed to death early in the game after leaving a restaurant. However, he is revived by a mysterious character named Homunculus, who offers to send him back in time to prevent his death and gives him the Digipad so he can travel through time. Eike can travel up to four eras (2001, 1980, 1902, and 1580) in his attempt to unmask his killer and find a way to prevent his own assassination at various points in the present. Along the way, he meets several characters: Dana, a waitress from the present who accidentally travels together to the year 1580 and loses her; the Pythoness, who tells Eike the time of her death; Eckart Brum, a private doctor who owns an art museum who lost his wife and young daughter in a shooting; Dr. Wolfgang Wagner, an alchemist living in 1580 with his wife, Helena, and their two children, Hugo and Margarette; and Alfred Brum, Eckart's great-grandfather.
