The Grotowskis, Grandpa Buck, his son Hank, and his grandson Sonny, work as executioners at the federal prison in Louisiana, executing those on death row. The patriarch of the family, now retired, has transmitted his hatred for the black race to his son. Sonny, by contrast, tends to stray from family tradition. Faced with the imminent execution of a black man, Sonny and a prostitute accompany him in his final hours. After his death, a tragedy unfolds. (FILMAFFINITY)
