Marvel's Avengers begins on A-Day, as Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow and Thor celebrate the opening of a high-tech Avengers headquarters in San Francisco. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in the massive destruction of the city. After being blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers part ways. Five years later, with superheroes outlawed and the world in danger, a great adventure begins when a brave young woman named Kamala Khan decides to reassemble the Avengers to stop the rampant power of the secretive new force known as the AIM.
