Vietnam. 1965. A radio DJ, Adrian Cronauer, is sent to Saigon to work at the US Army station. In contrast to his boring predecessors, Cronauer is pure dynamite: his irreverent comments, curses, expletives and his criticism of the vice president endear him to the troops.
