Ángel (Ovidi Montlor) is a poacher who lives in a forest with his mother (Lola Gaos), a tyrannical and violent character.
On one of his few trips to the city, he meets Milagros (Alicia Sánchez), an escapee from a reformatory and lover of a known criminal named El Cuqui.
Ángel protects her and takes her home. The animosity of the mother towards Milagros, as well as the attraction that Ángel feels towards her, together with the claustrophobic aspect of the relationships between the characters, will lead to a drama.
