- Synopsis
- In 1976, Tony Wilson discovers that his true calling is music. He founds a record label and becomes a talent scout and music promoter. Thus, the successful Factory Records label in Manchester was born, from which groups such as Joy Division, New Order and Happy Mondays came. Tony Wilson and his friends, after attending a Sex Pistols concert in the late 1970s, devise a plan that completely changes the world of pop music and turns Manchester into a famous city. After launching Factory Records, they buy a place and set up their own nightclub (Hacienda), which becomes one of the best known in the world. (FILMAFFINITY)
