-SECOND HAND VERY GOOD
Synopsis
When Mary Shelley published "Frankenstein" she was twenty years old and it was her first novel, and she did so by hiding her name, a common procedure at the time. There was nothing to predict that this adolescent novel could become a contemporary myth. Sometime in the last decade of the 18th century, a student named Victor Frankenstein, interested in the natural sciences, conceived of the possibility of creating a human being through the discovery of the origin and functioning of the principle of life. The creature that he finally managed to compose turned out to be monstrous and, at the same time, terribly lucid.
